The OCR NVQ Level 2 Certificate Team Leading: has been designed for team leaders who have some personal autonomy and responsibility, and who collaborate with others to deliver work. The NVQ gives learners the opportunity to develop the core competences needed by team leaders in today's dynamic business world. Learners take three mandatory units focusing on managing personal development, working relationships with colleagues and communicating information and knowledge. They then choose from a diverse range of optional units to complete the qualification, tailoring their learning to meet their individual and organisational needs.

 

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills and competences of learners in the workplace. The qualification provides individuals with an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed for a career in team leading orientated roles. The units encompass a broad range of competencies in this role.

Who are these NVQs for?

This NVQ is a work-oriented qualification and is suitable for those who undertake customer service related activities. It is open to learners of either gender and there are no entry barriers on grounds of race, creed or previous academic attainment or learning.
