Cyclone Commerce Ltd say: After spending many months trying to arrange an apprentice through the channels promoted by the government we had nearly given up.
At chance meeting with Linda Mockford I mentioned this. We agreed at that point to try the Academy of Learning. When I got to work the next morning the paperwork had been emailed and we were supported very well by the Academy of Learning team in guiding us through this process and helping us to update some of our employment policies.
Within 4 weeks we had three excellent candidates to choose from.
Our apprentice is one of the brightest and most focused individuals I have met, within two weeks he is actively working on client's projects. We have received excellent support from Academy of Learning throughout this process and are now planning our next apprentice.
Throughout the process I couldn't have found a more supportive and helpful organisation to work with and have recommended this process to three businesses on our estate.
I thoroughly recommend dealing with Academy of Learning as their knowledge, support and most importantly action have restored my faith in the apprenticeship system. I only wish we had dealt with Academy of Learning sooner.
